Greenview and the Government of Alberta invite residents, businesses and community members to attend an open house to learn about a proposed All-Season Resort Area Designation in the Grande Cache area.
This drop-in information session is an opportunity to learn more about:
• What an All-Season Resort Area is and what it could mean for the community
• What factors are considered when evaluating an area for All-Season Resort Area designation
• The roles of the Government of Alberta and Greenview throughout the process
• How Greenview will advocate for the community and bring local perspectives into Government of Alberta discussions
• Opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback on local priorities, potential tourism and recreation opportunities, and considerations related to the proposed designation
Greenview will also introduce the newly established Grande Cache All-Season Resort Advisory Committee. The committee will provide local perspectives and advice as discussions move forward. Members of local business, tourism and workforce development communities are welcome to apply for positions on the committee. More information about the application process will be available at the open house.
This is an information session. Drop in, learn about the designation process, speak with representatives from Greenview and the Government of Alberta, and become part of the conversation.
