Grande Cache Multiplex - Project

The Grande Cache Recreation Centre has served as the community’s primary recreation hub since 1970, providing residents with access to an aquatic centre, arena, curling rink, fitness centre, meeting spaces, and community programming. Over the years, the facility has undergone several improvements, including a major expansion in 2011 that added a new aquatic centre, common areas, washrooms, multipurpose rooms, and administrative spaces.

The Grande Cache Fieldhouse Renovation Project represents the next phase in the facility’s evolution. The project will transform the former pool area, which has been out of service since 2011, into a modern and functional fieldhouse space that supports expanded recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.

Designed to improve accessibility, safety, and overall functionality, the project will modernize aging infrastructure while making better use of existing facility space. Once complete, the new fieldhouse will enhance programming opportunities, support community wellness, and help ensure the Recreation Centre continues to meet the needs of current and future generations.
