Greenview MDP | Phase 1 Engagement Survey

Greenview is developing a new Municipal Development Plan (MDP). The MDP is a long-term, strategic plan that will guide how our communities grow and evolve over the next 20 years - from where different types of development go, to how our natural areas are protected. To make sure the MDP responds to new and evolving community priorities, Greenview is conducting a public engagement process.

We want to hear from you! Complete this survey to share your thoughts on how Greenview should grow. The survey will take 15-20 minutes. The survey will be available from June 29 to July 26.

What is a Municipal Development Plan?

A Municipal Development Plan (MDP) provides a comprehensive vision for the future. It is a statutory (legally binding) document that provides high-level direction about growth. It helps shape decisions about land use, development, infrastructure, transportation, economic growth, and environmental stewardship. The MDP ensures that growth is coordinated, sustainable, and aligned with community priorities.

Regular updates to the MDP ensures that policies are up-to-date and continue to reflect the goals, vision, and needs of the community. This update will also reflect the addition of Grande Cache as a hamlet within Greenview and merge the two MDPs.
