work and dedication.

Gord Meek came to our fire department a couple years ago, becoming our Deputy Chief. He has done a great job
integrating into his new position, getting acquainted with many new people, as well as a new community, and adapting to
this particular spot in Alberta. I commend Gord for his professionalism and for spearheading the team work. We want to see
him continue with us!

HUGE Kudos! We met Nicole (Brooks) at the summer ratepayers' supper. Just recently having moved back to our farm at NFC after
being away for 10 years, we were driving back from a trip to GP with my 90 yr mom when we noticed a flyer stating the
supper was taking place right then! We were greeted with a cheery smiling face - it was the beautiful face of Nicole Brooks.
As we were finishing our dessert, Nicole came over to our table to say hello again. She greeted my husband and I with a
Hello & a glance, then immediately her attention & respect went to my mother Ann. She looked mom eye to eye
and started chatting with her, which got a big smile from mom! I remember having great respect for how she handled herself
with mom. (often times it is the elderly who get the nod and we get the chat) I had an immediate 'kindred' spirit-type
feeling. Who knew that some weeks later my husband would be in emergency and I with mom in our vehicle. Needing to
be both places - looking after my mother yet by my husband's side. Nicole's name came to my heart. I called the MD, and shared
my situation with her. She was there by my side within no time to stay with mom in the vehicle so I could be with my
husband in Emerg. Nicole stayed till I could be back at moms side and has checked up on us and offered love &
hugs since! (Happy to say my husband is well) I realize this may not be directly MD-related 'Business', however it is
encouraging to know of your awesome employee(s) in Greenview. We are extremely grateful and Honoured to have met
Nicole. She has a very beautiful Heart and is a Woman of Integrity. So, we send 'beyond kudos'... we send Heartfelt Love
& Gratitude to a wonderful lady. It was on my heart to contact the Admin. to acknowledge Nicole's Act of Kindness when
yesterday I happened to receive a Glitz'd Gazette & noticed the Engage Greenview ad. Thanks!

community. We understand that being in the public eye is not always easy, and Tom has proven his steady commitment.
We look forward to keeping his good humour around! Thanks Tom!

Just a shout out to Gary Webber who showed up with a skid steer today to clear up a tight street corner. I went outside to talk to the operator and right away knew
that it was Gary because of his big engaging smile that he has had since he was a kid. (Still a kid to me as he went to grade and high school with my oldest son).
Gary asked me what I was looking for and proceeded to clear away the snow making a tight 90 deg corner safer for everyone. Great job and keep smiling kid!

Thank you for your contribution!
