The firefighters will probably never meet all the people whose property they saved. To us, it's much more than not losing possessions. It's knowing that groups of people are very good at their jobs, and worked unbelievably hard to help strangers.

The nightly updates from the Emergency Operations Centre were so informative and reassuring. It was a relief to know up to date information and to realize how many agencies were sharing resources. Our family members in other parts of Albert and Canada also appreciated having access to this timely information.
