I would like to say thank you to everyone that had helped and did their part in fighting the GWF0-17 fire that had went through sturgeon lake reserve. Being one of the sturgeon lake firefighters we were there since the very beginning. From the first day of having been surrounded by and driving through the fire and heat smoke and embers fighting it back behind homes, buildings within the first hours, using the water as a shield to be able to walk out of the flames to continue fighting for our land and homes. Having to stay behind without shelter…
