We are SO grateful for all the support and assistance!

As a resident of the Town of Valleyview, I want to commend the extraordinary work of the RCMP, especially the Valleyview detachment. Our local Detachment Commander and Officers, joined by numerous members of other detachments went door to door following the mandatory evacuation issued by the Town. They were caring and compassionate when informing residents of the danger and were not judgemental in any way. We would like to give them a BIG shout out for keeping a careful and consistent watch on our homes and businesses while we were away also! We are so grateful to all of those who were involved in the wildfire response and cannot thank everyone enough!
